What information we collect
We keep data collection deliberately limited. We may collect and process the following information:
- your name, business name and contact details if you contact us;
- your phone number and WhatsApp profile/contact details if you start a conversation with us through WhatsApp;
- details of your enquiry, including any vehicle, stock number or transaction you ask about;
- transaction information where you buy from us or sell to us, including invoices, payment records, vehicle records and related correspondence;
- information required for legal, tax, accounting, anti-fraud, insurance or dispute-resolution purposes.
How we collect information
We may collect information when you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp, website form, in person, or in the course of a vehicle transaction.
If you click a WhatsApp link on our website, the conversation takes place through WhatsApp. WhatsApp is operated by Meta and has its own privacy terms and policies. We do not control WhatsApp’s own data processing.
Why we use your information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- to respond to enquiries;
- to discuss vehicle stock, sourcing, availability, pricing and purchase details;
- to manage vehicle sales, purchases, invoices, payments and delivery/collection arrangements;
- to keep records required for tax, accounting and company administration;
- to protect our business against fraud, misuse, disputes or legal claims;
- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
Our lawful basis for using your data
Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information because it is necessary to respond to your enquiry, to take steps before entering into a transaction, to perform a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or because we have a legitimate business interest in operating, protecting and administering our trade vehicle business.
How long we keep information
Enquiry-only information, including WhatsApp leads where no transaction follows, is normally deleted or purged within 90 days unless there is a clear business reason to keep it for longer.
Where an enquiry becomes a transaction, or where records are needed for accounting, tax, company administration, legal, insurance or dispute purposes, we retain the relevant records for the period required by law or for as long as reasonably necessary. Company accounting and tax records are normally retained for at least 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We may share information where necessary with:
- service providers who help us operate our website, email, storage, communications and business systems;
- WhatsApp/Meta where you contact us through WhatsApp;
- Google services where we use Google Drive, Sheets or related tools to manage vehicle files and stock information;
- accountants, bookkeepers, insurers, professional advisers and legal advisers;
- transport, logistics, inspection, auction or trade partners where needed for a vehicle transaction;
- HMRC, Companies House, DVLA, law enforcement or other authorities where we are legally required or reasonably need to do so.
International services
Some services we use, such as WhatsApp/Meta or Google, may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, those providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards under their own terms and privacy policies.

Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information. You may also have the right to data portability in some circumstances.
