Pitlane Motors is a UK-based trade stock sourcing business built for dealers who want the value of imported stock without the usual import process, delays or uncertainty.
We originally started as a public-facing used car dealership. Over time, it became clear that the real advantage was not simply in retailing cars — it was in sourcing them properly, preparing them before they reached the UK, and turning import stock into something dealers could buy with confidence.
Today, Pitlane focuses on wholesale vehicle sourcing, mainly from Japan and Singapore. We work on the ground in those markets, buying locally, inspecting vehicles before purchase and preparing them before shipment. By the time a car is offered to the trade, the hard part has already been done.
The vehicle has been sourced, checked, prepared, imported, registered in the UK and MOT’d. The dealer receives a car that is ready to advertise, retail or move straight into stock, supported by a clear vehicle file with photos, videos, condition records and preparation evidence.
Our role is simple: we remove the import burden.
A dealer can import a car directly, but that means tying up money while the vehicle is bought, shipped, cleared, prepared, registered and tested — with any delays or surprises sitting with the buyer. Pitlane gives dealers access to import-priced stock after that process has already been completed.
We are not an export-yard broker, and we are not simply forwarding remote listings. Our value is in the work done before the car reaches the buyer: sourcing, inspection, preparation, documentation and UK readiness.
